Autopublish
Crosspost announcement messages automatically
Autopublish crossposts every new top-level message in an announcement channel to the servers that follow it.
Aethor publishes the original message without adding a second status message. For example, an announcement like this appears in following servers:
Setup
- Give Aethor View Channel, Send Messages and Manage Messages in the announcement channel.
- Open the dashboardโs Settings โ Auto-publish page, choose the channel and select Add channel.
- Post a new top-level message and check one of the servers that follows the channel.

You can also toggle a channel with /autopublish. Running the command again with the same channel removes it.
Verify the setup
Post another top-level message in the announcement channel. The original message should appear in a following server. Replies remain in the source channel and are not crossposted.
Limits and permissions
- It only works in Announcement (News) channels. Regular text channels are ignored.
- Free servers can enable 5 channels, Premium 10.
- Replies are skipped. Only top-level messages are published.
- Viewing, adding and removing channels are manager-level capabilities by default. A delegated role needs the corresponding Auto-publish capabilities.
- Discord applies its own crosspost limits. If Discord rejects a publish, that message is not retried automatically.
Next steps
- Use the dashboard to manage other server settings.
- Delegate Auto-publish access to staff roles when needed.
